I have toggle on for taskbar and the Weather app is not available in the taskbar at the bottom of the screen. Is it shown on your taskbar?

When you guys got the coolwalk update, how did you know? Does it prompt you to set up the UI, or do you have to proactively look for some settings somewhere?

Just wondering so that when I finally get the update, I'll know it.

I noticed the new 3 box icon in the lower left and when I clicked it I got multiple windows. No warning. No set up

?? for you...what if you don't have the Taskbar widgets" toggle on your phone? I have downloaded the latest beta version this morning and still don't have it on my phone.

I also don't know how to enable the CoolWalk settings. Probably operator error...haha. I typically don't run multiple apps on my Jeep when driving. I listen to the radio, or USB Drive, and have Google Maps or Waze open.

No, Coolwalk is the UI refresh for Android Auto that Google announced it was rolling out early last year.

Only about 30% or less of it's users have yet to receive it.

They appear to be rolling it out slowly, presumably to avoid unforseen disruptions.

I had an update to the radio within the last couple of weeks. I then update the app on my phone. Figured that would get me there.

I did read this today

Now that Coolwalk is rolling out, this is being updated once again, with the weather information getting its own home in a dedicated card on portrait screens. For some reason, the landscape mode is not supported for now.​

I've got Waze Beta 4.91.70.700 now and cool walk is working with it. Voice commands like "take me to work" or "navigate to work" did nothing this morning. I found that Waze app permissions did not allow the mic, so we'll see if it works on the way home.

I tested an hour or so ago. I am able to say "Hey Google" or "Ok Google" and I can ask a question, etc., and I get an answer. I can do this both when Waze is in play or Google Maps.

Check to be sure.... that when you are say in your office, room in the house and you say to your smartphone "Hey Google" or "Ok Google that Google awakens ... If you see that work , you should be seeing "Hey Google" or "Ok Google work when in the JL and using Waze or Maps.
