I'm not sure I fully understand the question.

It sounds like you are looking to mount the 4 pin harness not exactly like the photos and not at the rear of your jeep. You want to mount a 4 pin at or near the hitch receiver, which is at the front of your jeep, correct?

No...not a 4 pin trailer harness, a 2 pin Anderson Connector. It looks like this:

Correct. I wish to mount it on a front hitch receiver. (I have both front and rear hitch receivers.)

I want to mount an Anderson Plug at or near the hitch receiver, which is at the front of my jeep. It is thicker than a 4 pin which is why the linked hardware in my original post of this thread probably won't work.

Probably will require some fabrication but is this similar to what you’re envisioning? Scroll about halfway down this page.

Saw that Terry in my searching and like, thanks. Definite candidate. :)

Thinking of using this https://www.amazon.com/CURT-58000-E..._1_1?keywords=Curt+5800&qid=1703647794&sr=8-1 to mount the item in your link. I already have my linked part on the rear hitch for something else; works great.

Small piece of 1/8 plate. Bolt Anderson plug to it. Weld to hitch or bolt to hitch.

Seems easy enough, I would do something like what GtX suggested. A small plate or angled steel to weld on or you could use aluminum if you're going to drill & tap/bolt it on.

I love small projects like this, I envy you, my friend.
