I have only ordered it online as no one close to me sells it in the store. Still not worth it to me when I can get good full synthetic oil for $4.20 / quart.
Where can you find it online? Amazon doesn't have any.

Don't have a diesel jeep.

But for my 4 vehicles that i've maintained for 20+ years, I buy the cheapest quality brand name of oil for the application needed. I will never put amsoil oil in the jeep engine bc an oil change would then cost me upwards of 60 bucks. Pennzoil is just fine. If I had a diesel jeep I would put whatever spec oil I could find that was cheapest but met spec.

I have bought cases of their gear oil, because it is a quality product and it was cheaper than the other 75 140 I had quick access to.

My diesel car requires a pretty expensive mobil oil for it....I just buy it by the case when on sale.

I was talking about Penzoil being $4.20/ quart.
Thanks! I can't find it online--even Amazon doesnt have it that meets the MS-12991 and SN. Are you buying direct from Penzoil? I appreciate your help!

Just got this from Amsoil

Thank you for contacting AMSOIL Technical Service. The SAE5W-40 FS European motor oil (EFM) does list the API SN certification on the back of the bottle on the new label. Please see below. We do not list the MS-12991 spec on the bottle because we exceed the spec requirements by a fraction on an additive. In order to list the spec, you must meet it exactly, not exceed. The EFM meets or exceeds the spec requirements from Jeep on your 2020 Wrangler with the 3.0L eco-diesel. Let us know if you have any further questions and thank you for choosing AMSOIL!

This is not an approved API certification and is the "weasley way" that Amsoil uses on their oils to make it appear that it is certified.

AMSOIL European Car Formula 5W-40 Synthetic Motor Oil is engineered for use in gasoline or diesel vehicles that require any of the following specifications:

  • API SN, SM...
  • ACEA A3/B3, A3/B4
  • BMW LL-01
  • GM LL-B-025
  • Renault 0700, 0710

Engineered for use is NOT the same as certified. There should be an API star along with the API donut on the bottle:

Here’s one I’ve never heard of. Says it’s API SN+

I don't want to beat a "dead horse" but it is an important question about what oil is compatible since we all want the best for our Wranglers. Thus, hear is my question and response from Amsoil.

Question:
"I am looking at your SAE 5W-40 FS Synthetic European Motor Oil for my 2021 Jeep Wrangler 3.0 Ecodiesel. However, I do not see that a rating of MS-12991 or API SN. Therefore, how is Amsoil able to recommend this oil when the owners manual is very specific about the oil ratings and what kinds of oil to use?"

Response:
"Thank you for contacting AMSOIL Technical Service. Please see below screen shot of the label on the 5W-40 FS Synthetic European Motor oil. The API SN certification is listed on the back. This motor oil actually exceeds the MS-12991 spec. Since the product does not meet the spec exactly, we cannot technically list it on the product itself. Let us know if you have any further questions and thank you for choosing AMSOIL!"

It looks like the answers they are giving are consistent. I know Amsoil is a great company and trust their products from prior experience. However, to each their own.
