"Amplifer is hot" message

I got an amplifer is hot message and my music ceased for about 5 minutes then started back playing again. Has anyone ran across this?

Interesting, I'm going to google see if I can find schematics of where the Amp is on the JL as mine hasn't arrived yet. I wonder if its a venting issue, or power surges from ESS. How long as it been happening?

Very first time. I'm in the middle of driving from Cincinnati to Memphis and I've only been driving maybe 1.5 hours. First time I've received this message. I had my music at 27 out of 38 when it happened.

Damn hopefully it doesn't happen again. I'm going off a JK Rubicon schematic, and it looks like the amp is under the steering column. But I cant get a good look of the amp itself, I'm assuming it would be vented. I'll keep looking around.
