Also, are you considering keeping the access after the prom ends? Most guys/gals do not.

Premium Audio Group includes WiFi Hot Spot.
So configured my phone with the WiFi selections and it connects to the Jeepbut then disconnects after about a minute. Cannot seem to keep the connection.

Suggest you take your smartphone out of the picture for now....
With your JL's WiFi on, try connecting to that WiFi with your laptop, ipad, or similar and my guess is you will not see the connection issue..
