Amp location

Looking to install subwoofer and amp. Seen a lot of folks putting under front passenger seat. Question for y'all, does the amp not overheat with foot heater on? Might put it under rear passenger seat instead because I know my feet be burning up even with heater on setting 1...

Electronics can take a lot more heat than feet can. Could be that I just haven't heard of it happening, but I'd think if it was a regular thing there would be a plethora of posts warning against using that as a mounting location.

The 3 amps for my Quart Stage 6 setup are unbder the pass seat. The amps a above the rear seat heater outlet. I think Metra Axxess makes a rack that is similar. JL audio makes one as well but it is a bit pricey.

Ran a 1K watt amp under driver’s seat for 6+ years no problem. You’re not putting out that much heat from the heater.
