Does a yone know what fuse to pull to turn off. My drivers side step makes a god awful noise when retracting. It's embarrassing and people are looking. It's that noisy. Tried cleaning and half a can of WD40. Next I am going to cut the wires to the motor.

If they are wired to the battery, there is an inline fuse in the red wire for the Amp Research boards. This will disable both boards, not just the driver side. If wired to an Aux switch you can turn them off with that switch.

Is there a wire harness that connects to the drives side motor that could be unplugged and zip tied out of the way?

They are not on the auxiliary switches. I am betting on the battery direct connection. Didn't even think of that. I will let you know thanks!

I need to get under and look. But it is 5 degrees outside right now. Have to wait till I home.

Is your harness the wire tap type, or plug and play? If p&p, just unplug from obdII port by your left knee.

I going to look at the battery once I get off work. If no fuse I will track the wiring harness down. There has to be a plug of some type going to them.

I’ll bet there’s a fuse within 12 inches of the battery which you could easily remove if you don’t care about either side working. Or if you’d like to keep the passenger side working see if there’s a connector on the driver side motor. My Rockslide Engineering step slider will get grit in them and squeak sometimes. I spray the hinges periodically with PB Blaster Graphite Dry Lubricant and it stops the noise.

I want both side shut off. It's covered under warranty. Just working 7 12s no time to get it in.

Got it, fuse was literally on top of the battery. Has a in-line 10 amp fuse.
