  • My Ecodiesel doesn't run hot even though I live in Phoenix
  • I've never experienced death wobble even though this is my 11th Jeep
  • I have both safety packages and they work flawlessly
  • My dealer hasn't tried to screw me (although, in all fairness, I don't use them much)
  • My Jeeps have never been "victimized" in any way (although a dealer employee once left a half-eaten bean burrito on the rear seat of my one-month old GC)
  • I rear-ended a CR-V: $5K+ in damages to them; $80 in damages to me. (hence the safety packages on my latest Jeep :))
  • My (supposedly) suicidal fuel pump is still running like a champ.
  • I'm sitting on 500+ lbft of torque and I've managed to stay out of trouble.
Anyone else have any "lucky streaks" to share?

What was the damage to your Jeep? Do you have a photo? I'm very curious what happened that cost so little for you. Probably to stroke my ego that I have a steel bumper, but if you have a photo...love to see how minimal damage/cash it cost you.

I've had a similar experience....nothing on my Jeep has had an issue so far....but I have the I4 2.0 and only 18k miles since I bought the '21 JLR in December of '20.

11th Jeep...jealous of the fun you've had for sure...!

Here's a thread. Mine were the OEM steel bumpers (like the ones in the picture below):

I don't have a picture of my damage, but it was the driver's side plastic bezel surrounding the fog lamp in the generic picture below:

Well driving Jeep almost all my life and they never anything other than a 3rd car, yet it was the car that got all the miles on it and drove to work daily.

Starting in '84 I bought my first NEW Jeep and about 16 Jeeps later with all being ordered except 3 and I now have my 2024 JLR-X.

2 Jeeps have seen over 100k miles, and 1 at 136k miles this one needed a new water pump only because it a a very small drip and I put up for sale and being honest I replaced it. My 2003 Rubicon wheeled with me just a fraction over 100k miles and I had retired, sold my company and I did nothing but wheel for 10 years. 1 or 2 trips to Moab every year, all over the SW US often gone from 1 week o r2 weeks at a time and sometime almost a month. Wife was happy have me out on the road and out of her hair. I don't play on little trails I play with the big boys 7+ trails.

After all this the warranty:

Up until my 2024 JLR-X I had only gone in for warranty service 5 time and now 6.

2 x replace rearview mirror

1 x Snaped drivers side rear axle shaft

1 x Reinsert AC drip hose thru firewall

1 x Short in Left Rear tail light, loose ground wire

My 2024 TPMS Left Front tire, Right rear tire stopped reading.

Jeep has never done anything but treat me well and I am glad because Dealers rarely treat us well. My 2023 JLR I added 35 tires and because of that they denied ALL warranties. I bought it there and they did not tell me when I bought it that any mod would take it out of warranty for anything on the Jeep. This is NOT rare. I flat rendered my Jeep TJ Rubicon and they would not warranty the Jeep as a result..they claimed the Jeep mech was a short guy and the flat fenders would not let him work on the engine bay. I had a missing plug and they would not replace it.

Dealers are the problem, NOT the Jeep
