Thanks Focker. I have one installed too. I was just curious what the black backsplash looked like when it was closed.

I actually just ordered a black replacement cutting board for mine. This cutting board material that can stand up to 350°!

The guy I go to has a minimum charge of $100 so I added some other things to the list as well. I would assume alone it was about $45-$50 because he had to first take off the silver powder coat that comes on it. I went with a texture black to semi-match the steel bumper.

They were about 4 weeks from order to receiving. They are not good at letting you know.

Do either of them allow the tailgate vents to continue to function?

The OAT has multiple spots for air to pass through and I haven’t noticed any difference when closing doors before and after the install. There is a foam strip along the perimeter to help prevent rattling but there are plenty of spots on the backsplash for air to pass through.

Can’t speak for the AAL table since I haven’t seen it in person but @chris4prez photo seems to show a vent on the far right side in the bottle cap reservoir.

Mine, too, took 3 weeks before it was shipped but the site I purchased from was kind enough to state that prior to purchase. They either seem to be on perpetual back order or MTO.

Ok ya'll, just got off the phone w Doug from Outback. Those who are at the 4 week mark... order will be shipped next week. I do have something new to share.... he will be offering 2 new color finishes for the backsplash. Black and Hammertone. I opted for the hammertone finish! If you’re near the 4 week mark and want to see if you can get any of the newer color finishes, give him a call.
