Yes I did and she told me that it was installation error.
first thing she said was that the pin has to be perfectly centered and also mentioned that there must be no marring of the surface of the pin head.
If there are any tool marks from stalling the pin, they won’t warranty it!
so, for future possible consumers, make sure you guys don’t mess up the surface of the pin when you guys install it!
if there are some of you guys out there that need replacements, they are $23! Just google push type latch and they will pop up with all sorts of finishes and colors
