I have a 2025 Wrangler Rubicon four-door with the premium Alpine sound system. I am wondering if anyone has done the.MB Quart’s subwoofer upgrade, and if so, it works well.
Also, any information on ease of install and perhaps where you may have purchased

Commenting to see responses. I’d like to know as well!
Same. Ive tried to find anything on it and always come up empty as far as a sound comparison goes. My hunch is that it doesnt really change much. That space is just so choked for air.

Yes I did I it and it works great with the amp kit that mounts under the passenger front seat. Takes a bit of work to channel the wiring from the battery across the back of the hood into the passenger compartment and behind the dash to the passenger footwell. Nice YouTube videos on how to do this.

I’m not sure that’s an upgrade. If you already have the Alpine (4 door) sub, seems to me like that’s basically a lateral change.
The stock sub is 200 watt being powered by i think a 184 watt amp. The mb is rated at 400 watt with a 400 watt amp. The biggest issue I see still is that its like .5 cubic feet of air which actually means it should be an 8" sub. No matter what is dropped in its just going to end up starved for air. That said I am still super curious if there's a noticeable improvement with the MB because the stock sub sucks.

I’m pretty happy with my stock sub. With the right song and settings, it vibrates my mirrors and brain cells.

First of, I love the visceral feel from a good subwoofer thump, you aren't going to get that with any system and the default enclosure. Still, because of the amp, there can be a noticeable difference since you have control over the gain. I did the full MB Quart speaker system and found that I had more control over the blend of highs and lows and front and back to better suit my preferences. I did also mount the included bass control knob so I could better fine tune between different genres.

I think the SubWoofer is just fine. What it needs is a better tweeter and mid range. I'm too old to appreciate the window rattling, license plate rattling base, that the younger people like.

Terra Acoustic was audiophile quality but they no longer make them. The owner passed away.

Oops it’s Audio Uprising and they have a 60 day trial and a 4 year warranty. They took over the company after the founder passed. Not sure where they produce their equipment but that is a pretty good return policy if ur disappointed.

Leave the alpine system in place but replace the tweeters in the dash and soundbar. It’s a jeep, square, noisy and never going to sound super amazing. I’ve gone down the rabbit hole of replacing components and ended up putting the Alpine back as it sounds fine once tweeters are replaced. If you want a great audio experience get a different vehicle.
