Alpine Premium Audio System & Infotainment Group

Ok, when I ordered today, the first round my salesman made a mistake and ordered an auto transmission. It had both the Alpine Premium Audio System and the Infotainment System Group on the printout. When he went back to redo it, he selected the infotainment group and it would not allow the Alpine system. He checked and showed me a page that he claimed showed the Alpine system to be included in the infotainment group.

Why then did it show up separately on the first order, but wouldn't allow him to do it on the second? Is it included? He told me it was just one of the weird things about FCA's ordering system, but he was confident the Alpine is included. This makes sense, since it blocked it out the second time. I'm still puzzled as to why both are listed on some orders and not on mine or others.

Any help would be appreciated.

Basically what we have noticed is that on some orders it is showing both on some it only shows the infotainment option. We believe that selecting the Infotainement first blocks out the Alpine selection. Selecting the Alpine first and it’ll show both on the selection sheet. We think this is a glitch in the system and are hoping Alpine is included in the Infotainment selection.


And it was just confirmed that it is included!

Yeah, sorry. I know I saw it in another thread somewhere else, but I couldn't remember where, and I wanted the latest info, as things are changing by the minute now. Thanks for the help! I'm resting a bit easier now, as this is a MAJOR concern. The audio system is of primary importance to me.

What's interesting @DanW and I are both getting the manual - that's got to be the trigger for the glitch. Not many of us on the forums are getting manuals.

You can’t get the 8.4” without the infotainment group. The Rubi and Sahara come with a 7” standard

I’m getting a manual Sahara JLU.

On my build sheet (updated this week by dealer) I have my Alpine premium audio system but NO infotainment group?

Anybody have something similar. Haven’t seen a post say it yet

You can’t get the 8.4” without the infotainment group. The Rubi and Sahara come with a 7” standard

I think you can get the 8.4" display without ordering the infotainment group. See order code UJQ in the order guide. This option comes with:

• 8.4" Touchscreen Display (RFL)
• Apple Carplay (RFP)
• Google Android Auto (FR5)
• GPS Antenna Input (JPL)
• GPS Navigation (JLN)
• Integrated Center Stack Radio (RTF)
• Integrated Voice Command w/Bluetooth (XRB)
