All about SEATS! Who's changed 'em out?

Thanks for the replies. I took the Jeep into a shop and they did a bunch of foam work, the back of the seat is now good, but they over did the bottom and now that is a problem. It is too firm and I have a different issue. I had to drive 300 miles one way so there is a lot of extra expense. Ready to give up. When I sit in a Bronco they have wonderful seats and the doors still come off. I'm at a point where I'm thinking to just take the loss and walk away from Jeep forever. I've said it more than once with past Jeeps that "this is the last one, never again" haha ffs. Any other new vehicle I sit in has better seats, this garbage seat thing is brutal.

I would take it back to the shop and ask them if they can make adjustments.. The shop that did my seats would do this. I had them build a motorcycle seat for me one time. They had me come sit on it and then took my feedback to make the seat perfect at no additional charge. I would think that it would be in their best interest to make the seat feel right. After all if they turned out like my seats did, they would end up with refers from everyone that I talked to about how good of a job they did.

Everyone who sits in my Jeep loves how the seats were redone.

My seats are very comfortable, my wife and I both agree they are better than her GC seats.

I’m very happy with the cloth seats in my 24 Rubi.

Recently did a trip from Grand Rapids to Colorado Springs in a new Chevy Blazer. Those seats were AWFUL! No matter how many adjustments were made, there was no comfortable solution.

The auto headlights worked as well as the seats, but at least those could be turned off.

Seats are very individual but there is just something very trashy with this 2025 Willy's drivers seat. Since they're 300 miles away it is a long trip to run back and forth, this Willy's XR is also somehow worse on gas than my Mojave on 37's with stock gears was! I am going to talk to the shop on Monday. After the 300 mile drive home today my ass was sore and walking was not good for a couple mins after getting g out. I am a normal sized active fit human so this just shouldn't be happening. The seat back is improved but the seat bottom is way worse, brutal!!

Thanks again for the replies and tolerating my venting in this thread. Wish I had kept the 23 Mojave but I jumped and beat the heck out of it and it needed new suspension and tires and I figured why not make things simple... Not so simple now.

My seats are very comfortable, my wife and I both agree they are better than her GC seats.

My wife’s GC’s seats are very comfortable, my Wrangler’s seats are very hard and haven’t softened as much as hoped in 4 years. The adjustability helps too … I would swap them if I could get away with it.

These seats have airbags, which are mandatory in Austria. The seat occupancy detection system was taken from the original seat, and the seat brackets were custom-made – a lot of work.

Well I might have found a seat solution… New seats that come attached to a different vehicle
