Air Recirculation Turning On Without Indicator

I have a new 2025 Sport S with 250 miles, and I've noticed the air recirculation keeps turning on randomly—even though the indicator light on the button isn't lit. I have to press the button twice (on, then off) to get it back to fresh air. Is this normal for these JL's?

The recirc gate has two opening settings, fully open and partially open. If the fan speed is at or above 4 then the gate will partially open with no indication on the recirc button. This will happen regardless of heater/ac settings. If the gate is manually opened, it will open to the full setting and show on the recirc button. When the recirc button is unlit, then the gate is either closed or partially open.

This is how my 2018 JL works. Hope that helps.
