AEV Borah rim and tire combo

Hello everyone, I am planning on getting a temporary spacer lift until I can get the Clayton off-road overland plus lift and I am planning on getting the AEV Borah rims. What tire best fits because I’m guessing a BFG KO2 35/12.50/17R won’t fit because the wheel dimensions of the Borah are similar to OEM Sahara rims. Preferably BFG or NITTO.

OEM Sahara rims are 18x7.5+44.5. AEV Borah JL spec wheels are 17x8.5+25. BFG 315/70R17 KO2s work just fine on my JLUR.

If you are planning to eventually go Clayton, I’d recommend going JK like I did for the Borah wheels. They have close to the recommended 4.5” backspacing to keep rubbing from happening. I am running 315/70R17s (35x12.5 equivalents) Wildpeak AT/3s

Im running the Clayton 1.5 overland kit along with The AEV reservoir shocks and Borah wheels on my 23 Rubicon. What a fantastic combo. Excellent ride on and off road. The Clayton lift took my 2 door Jeep 2.5 inches up with my heavy bumpers. 35 inch tires will not rub cause the Clayton lower control arms are made with a built in radius.
