Has anyone installed the AEV 2" spacer kit on their JL Rubicon, specifically the Eco diesel? I'm not going to "crawl" mu Jeep but do enjoy trails and the beach. I know a true suspension lift is ideal, but AEV products have always been great for me and this kit is appealing. Will the drivability remain the same, or will I have caster issues? Thanks!

Fixing stupid....
The AEV spacer lift (just like all the other spacer lifts i have seen) only includes the spacers, shock extensions and one set of extended sway bar links.

by lifting it this much you will be decreasing your caster, as well as moving the axles to the side a little. The caster is the big factor in drivability.

i would do something about caster as well as adjustable track bars (at least the front) to recenter the axles.

I have the same use case as you (but on a Sahara 2.0L). The AEV 2" spacer kit was recommended to me by my local shop for my needs, in addition to a few extra pieces.

I outlined them here: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/yet-another-lift-kit-question.77802/

The initial feedback on my thread was not to bother with a spacer lift, but to go with a full lift, ideally either Rock Krawler or Metalcloak. However, I also got some private feedback that my setup would be perfect for my actual needs - I'm not likely to tackle the Rubicon Trail anytime soon.

Highlighting because of the additional parts that my shop recommended.

Install it and try it. I did 2.5" spacers and did NOTHING else. It drives just like it did stock. Put it on our alignment machine and it was within specs.

Thanks for the feedback! Now that you have it all in, are you pleased with the results? Is the drivability and look what you were hoping for?

You may be able to move the stock rear sways to the front in the AEV.

Cheapest way to get the caster back is to buy the Mopar Lift LCAs at $60 for the pair.

Procal doesn't work for the 4xe, so that was a not added value for me, but I liked the Teraflex shock extensions a lot more than the AEVs. I did the Teraflex 1.5" Spacer Lift (2"F/1.5"R), Teraflex 2" Shock Extensions, and picked the rest of the pieces out of the Mopar kit: LCAs, Bumpstop Extensions, and Sway Bar Endlinks. Probably ends up about the same price as the AEV kit.

The AEV is going to be a good choice since it does come with the sway bar links and the procal snap. I have the Teraflex spacer kit w/bump stops but ended up adding an adjustable track bar and front sway bar links soon after install. Stock LCA's but with Icon shocks. 20k miles on this set up and drives great on 35s

With that said, you should cost out all the parts you would potentially need for the spacer lift and compare to a true suspension lift. In hindsight I would have gone with the 2.5' lift and 37s

I just did the AEV 2” spacer lift with Rubicon shocks/springs and the Mopar extended LCA’s on my Sport S. I put 35” Kendas on my stock wheels. Steering is spot on. It drives better than stock.

I didn’t end up using the ProSnap. I opted for the JScan, and have been very pleased with it. But if all you want to do is set tire size, the AEV module will do the trick. Install is a little more involved.
