I have searched and read most of the previous post on this subject, but did not find any information on my question.

I am contemplating adding the Trailer Tow Package at the dealer. I received a fair price to add the 4 Aux Switches, Hitch and Wiring.

My JL was ordered with the Alpine Premium Audio System, which included a 220 Amp Alternator. My question is, Does anyone think there would be any need to install a 240 Amp alternator that comes with the factory installed Tow Package?

I plan on installing the 700 Amp battery.

If you add those items, the aux, hitch and wiring after the fact, is adding the brake controller as easy as plugging in the bake controller?

I've heard if you have factory ordered tow package, it's as easy as plugging it in on dash. Does adding the aux switch settle that?

If you have a 2.0 there is no alternator upgrade for the tow package
