I was looking at new bumpers and I like a lot of them, but I really like the looks of the stock Rubicon bumper. I just wanted to add some shackles/D rings, but wanted to keep the stock bumper. This is what i went with. I left the shackle off of one of the tabs to make it easier to see. I thought it was a clean install. HK offroad makes the stuff and it is SOLID. Anyway, I know it’s not super rugged, but it accomplished what I wanted.

I saw the title and was thinking "can't be done" but dang... lets go with "WELL DONE!" instead!
That's what they should have done, front and rear, from the factory.
I didn't have the nerve to do it myself but Firecracker is my favorite color. The red shackles really work well too. Nice job!

I was thinking it was going to be a half assed solution, so I was very surprised when I watched the video on the HK website. Looks like a great solution

I like the way this is setup. May have to convince myself that it’s worth removing the bumper AGAIN to install these. Thanks for sharing.

bumpers definitely fall into my least favorite category.

Did you have to drill out your frame horn holes for the new studs?

I looked at these when I was doing mine. I couldn’t find a good picture of how those plates would end up looking. Not bad. I ended up going with the Maximus-3 solution where they are on the under side. I kinda want both now though 🤣
