Good luck! Here if u need anything!
Welp, I am reaching out ...
1. Ground - Amp under the passenger seat. I researched and found it's ok to have more than 1 ground on a post, but Sting mentioned it needs its own. Thoughts? I'm an idiot and can't find an unused post for my ground along the back half of the passenger side.
2. RCA - Amp front/bar speakers, self-powered sub. Should I run RCA to PAC, or Pre-Out's on the AMP?
This is my last two hurdles before I try to put everything back together.
Help is appreciated.
Please, and Thank You.

Grounding
- i use a Empty ground post with 4 gauge wire >> to distributor split in two >> Capacitor >> Amp
RCA - if you already installed the PAC id say everything to PAC , if you are just adding another Powered SUB you can get the signal from rear Speaker wire ( i might be wrong :) )

You're OK to use the same ground for common equipment, unless you start to get interference, or engine noise coming through. Using the same ground for lighting and audio, for example, can wreak havoc on sound quality.

Regarding the powered sub-woofer's RCA's coming from the PAC or your Amp's pass- through, it won't matter much unless your amp has built-in DSP capabilities. If your main amp does have DSP capability, you'd want to use the Amp's pass-through to provide better customization.

Two possible grounding points.
Next to passenger seat (middle)
Rear passenger seat along the side.

Guys,

I'm tearing everything down and starting my installation tonight. Where did you tuck the PAC Amp Pro? Do you have a picture by any chance? I was looking behind the glovebox and with the A/C lines there I am not sure where is the safest location.

I am going to use heavy-duty Velcro and mount mine on the back of the glove box. I will most likely use super glue to help keep the velcro stick to the glove box and the backside of the PAC. I have tested this scenario and it seems to work.
The other option I am looking into is to use two velcro straps and strap the pro between the glove box and where the radio sits.
I am learning as well....

There's a pic in my build thread of where I placed my PAC

Look in the crudely drawn blue circle, that's where I grounded my amp. It's under the center console, if you can make sense of where the pic was taken from. I'm not experiencing any unwanted noise or alternator whine in my system yet.

Has anyone here used (or know someone first hand) the JL RD900/5 amplifier and mounted it under the passenger seat. I just read someone commented that it's too big to fit there, but I want to be sure. I'm considering exchanging my current amp above (that I'm not using to its' potential) for the RD900/5.

RCA to PAC no problem, I just ran that, all good there. (1 done, 1 to go) Finish up connecting all wires, and hopefully put the Wrangler back together by the end of the weekend.
I am using 4 gauge wire to distributor, split to the amp and powered sub. I skipped a capacitor, as I didn't think it was needed with this setup.
I may add one in the near future if needed. (1000x4) - drawing 70x4 at 4ohm. 300W powered sub, Rock Fos.
For my ground I am using 8 gauge wire from chasis to distributor, split amp/sub.

Two below grounds are possibly grounding points.
The ground below is back passenger side. I don't know what the ground is for.

Ah, ok ... I will check that possibility as well. I didn't take a good hard look under there.

Found that same bolt. Is that considered the chassis though?

Why would you get rid of the VXi?

EDIT:

Disregard, I just saw the reasons in your build post.

So, I noticed you're using your Focal Crossovers. Are you sending a full, non crossed-over signal from your VXi to your Focals? If not, try that, as the Focal crossovers are expecting a full range signal.

Losing the individual channel EQ's and custom profiles would be a bummer. If I can help with the VXi stuff, I'll be happy to try.

Center console passenger side. Same area, one with a little extra distance away.
I am only a little concerned it’s not considered a “chassis” ground.
Tell me I’m an idiot and I’ll ground it there right now. One of my last hang ups.

mod course the pics are upside down.
