Greetings group.

Has anyone added an additional 12 V plug to the cargo area? The existing plug is in the way if I wanna put my fridge on that side.

And if someone has done it how did you get access to the wiring behind the panels? I first was going to attack it through the left rear light assy. But I couldn’t quite figure out how to get that off I do see there’s a screw up top and I tried to remove it and it’s a whole spring loaded plastic assembly and I removed it and I was unable to remove the light so I’m not sure what it goes to.

I know you’re not intending to use it but for others, I don’t suggest that plug for powering a fridge unless it’s very small and low power draw. We use the arb kit typically which is fused 8ga from the battery back to the cargo area and install their plug either in the cubby compartment or surface mount it out of the way.

For the taillight bolt, you’ll have to grab the light and pop it out one the white bolt is removed.
