This has happened like 3 times now. My wife calls says rear locker light is flashing and chirping in the parking lot when turning. I very comly explain the steps to take the rear locker off (probably not as calm the last time... sorry babe). I believe it gets hit while she is driving because problem does not show up at initial start of trip, but only after a stop restart cycle in town... I have driven it 26k of the 36k so I know nothing wrong. Has this happened to anyone else or just me?

You sure she isnt having some fun trying to crawl curbs and sh•t lol.

No seriously, I think she playing army tank. It's a game where you imagine driving an army tank, shouting out soldier commands and start pushing all the buttons on the Jeep. It's a perfectly normal occurence....I do it all the time.

i don't have a Rubicon but i thought the lockers will only turn on if you are in 4 low. are you driving around in a parking lot in 4 low. if not take it in for warranty work oh wait you are at 36,000 so take it and pay a ton to have it fixed. sounds like a sensor is out.

I have Tazer JL got it at 5k miles but when certain option is turned on you can engage rear locker in 2wd really fun in loose stuff ;) If I cant fix the problem will have to turn the fun option off when not using it.

One of the first times my wife rode in my jeep, she put her little purse wallet thing in that little canyon in front of the shift levers. It fit nicely there and out if the way, but it was up against those lower controls. I didn't have the tazer yet, but knew it was coming and didn't want to have any future issues.

Is your wife using that "canyon" for something that's rubbing those controls?

She does, that is highly likely the culprit and makes the most sense. Will ask her.

@Sean K. No not the tazer causing it, this has never happened to me and like 4 times to her.

The locker in 2WD/4H is a live feature for the Tazer. Just unplug it when she drives and ask her to stop pushing all the buttons.
