Spent today looking at new SUVs with the wife for her next vehicle and I saw it just sitting there staring at me. I've never really considered the Gladiator but that blue Mojave looked pretty cool.

I have a full size truck, but it's an old classic 76 F100 and bare bones truck that is more of a sleeper farm truck hotrod than a daily driver. A new truck would be nice, but just struggling to justify a Mojave. It will be a semi frivolous purchase.

Any Mojave owners have regrets or is it absolutely worth it? Whats the towing like? Is the rear seating about the same as a JLU?

I currently have a 2019 JLUR and would be trading it in with plenty of equity.

So give me some thoughts, likes, dislikes.

The Mojave is the better looking one to me. I believe they can tow up to 7K lbs. As far as room, I think they are the exact same as the Wrangler. I have gone back and forth thinking of trading mine in but cant do it. I like the fact my Jeep already has 35s and 4:56 gears.

I briefly considered a Gladiator Rubicon when I found a brand new leftover 23 for less than 40k. Then I realized they are kind of long and it needed to fit into my garage. I considered it hard enough to go out and measure my garage but the idea died pretty quick once I realized how much space it was going to take up. Now if they made a shorter 2 door gladiator...it would be hard to resist.

We bought my wife a Gladiator Mojave as her daily driver. It has a Mopar lift and 35s, and she calls it her Zombie Apocalypse Vehicle. She loves it because it is fun to drive, and she doesn't have to worry about making it to work or back, or anyplace else, if the weather goes bad.

I don’t own one, but the incentives on the leftover 23 Gladiators have made it tempting for sure. The Mojave is a great looking truck.
Yes, absolutely my thoughts on those incentives!

I really like the looks with the lift and 35s! My wife hates driving my JL Rubicon, but I wonder, does the Mojave drives better?

I like the way better towing capacity it has over the JLUR I have. I'll have to consider all of my improvements too if I do this. Bumpers, winch, Genesis dual batteries, axillary switches, 35" tires, LED headlights.

I agree. With a lift and 35s is how all of them should have came from the factory. That’s just my opinion though. That and different gearing.

If I were to buy a Gladiator it would be the Mojave. It has always seemed like the sweet spot of options for my use, and I love the hood. But it would barely fit in the garage, and 99% of the time the bed would go unused. Plus, I love my Wrangler way too much to part with, and I don't need or have garage space for two Jeeps. So it's pretty much D.O.A. each time the tickle tickles. But if I had the garage space and the cash I'd have a Mojave and my Wrangler.

I measured my garage too. The 30” difference in length is a dealbreaker at this point for me.

I looked hard the Mojave, I love the look. I looked at a silver zenith with the light gray interior, beautiful.

The stopper for me (besides the fact that I love my wrangler) is I can afford the diesel and I will not own the pentaturd engine.

Some new engine options, then maybe.

I bought a new 2020 Gladiator Rubicon after two Wranglers, TJ & JK. I loved the 7000 pound tow rating, but that was about it. It was so big, I lost the use of my workbench unless I pulled it out of the garage. I went back to a Wrangler JLUR. More room inside, more fun to drive, and fits on trails and in my garage much better. I got my workbench back! The JLUR feels roomier inside due to no cab wall right behind the rear seats. If I could afford both and had a bigger garage, I'd keep the JLUR and get a full size pickup! JMO.
