7 pin adapter missing?

I got the heavy duty tow package on my new Rubi XR and just realized that I don't have the 7 pin adapter.

I should have received that correct?

I'll be at the dealer tomorrow and wanted to double check that I'm supposed to have it because I've always had it when I both my Dakota & ram in the past.

So you are saying you do not see this Mopar 56055632AC Hitch Connector mounted just under your driver's side rear bumper...... If not what is there?

That's there. There's no connector or adapter piece to plug into that part.

IF you open the access doors on that Mopar 56055632AC Hitch Connector on the back of your JL, you will see connect points for a 4 pin connector from a trailer and a connect point for a 7 pin connector from your trailer. Yourr trailer has either a 4 or 7 pin connector originating from it.

NO, the JL does not come with a 7 Way Flat Blade to 4 Way Pin Adapter as in the picture below.
You do not need one as your JL hitch connector on the back of your JL, accommodates 4 or 7 pin connectors, originating from a trailer.

Thanks for clearing that up. I assumed I'd get that adapter as I got it with my 2010 ram & it had the 4 or 7 pin connector.

There's just too many differences out there for them to make a single solution.
I did just buy one on Amazon last week though that has a spot for a 4 pin and a 5 pin in the same connector. My boat trailer has a 5, the land scraping trailer has a 4. Now I only need one plug.

I know the JL's that I have seen delivered did not come with the adapter I pictured and you thought was AOL...

Guess there is a possibility that some do come with an adapter...

Ask your dealer for one.... they may give you one... you don't ask you do not get... 8-)
