I saw one of those on I-70 on the way to Moab EJS three or four years ago. All week long it sat in a parking lot along Main Street, just being gawked at. I never stopped to check it out, but what kind of axle to they use to get the driveshaft all the way to the rear axle? I'm making an assumption here that they really are 6 wheel drive...

It goes from the t-case to the 1st axle and then a small one between axles if you can see it in this pic

Would you buy one of these 6x6 and if so, how much would you pay?

If they could fit this in the footprint of the 2 door, I might be interested.

That Jeep is the equivalent of Joe Biden trying to explain 9mm ammunition.

If you want to see some interesting vehicles, just search "superjeeps Iceland". When I was there it seemed like they stuck fat tires on everything. Then added the extra rear axle on things like e-350 Vans. Even those 6 door Excursions. Ironically, very few actual Jeeps.

I think they need to add a second front axle and make it an 8X8. That would show that you are even more wealthy than the 6X6 owners. I did drive a BTR-80 back in the early 90's when I was in Siberia. It's 8X8 but you can also drive it out in a lake and it'll float plus has a prop. Maybe that will be the next frontier for what the wealthy does with their money.
