6MT available?

Sounds like the Wrangler JL will be getting lots of drivetrains and technologies focused on efficiency and I know the new 8 speed auto will be part of that. So any risk to losing the 6MT? I HOPE NOT. Anyone read any rumors about it?

Haven't read about the manual going away and don't think there's any way that's happening. But the new 8 speed auto sounds like it's definitely coming as an option.

Will the 8 speed be any bigger or heavier than the current 5 speed auto?
