I never implied they were consumer grade. They are a top tier lighting company. The prices are comparable to the high end rigid also. The beam can be adjusted with its built in AI and the gps info.

What other light bars have that level of technology? I’d say they are pretty cutting edge

I agree with you Feniex builds at the highest standards whereas fact Rigid and the likes of Quake are over priced consumer grade fixtures exploiting the buzz word LED, The A/I is pretty common commercial technology. I was just pointing out the comparison is oranges and apples. I have much respect for a company like Feniex who has carved out a a great domestic made niche business and product line.

Let me say while I am not a fan of Asian built LED products in General it is not because of the product quality as there are many middle of the road and high end quality Asian LED fixtures (especially out of South Korea) at very affordable cost, my issue is more the business practices of primarily Chinese companies. I certainly appreciate Made in the US products as all our LED products are, however from a consumer perspective many so called made in the US products are simply assembled in the US but there are those that deliver average quality at premium cost with crap warranties trying to live off a buzz word.

Has anyone gotten any further with the "old school" round lights mounting?

I have been searching all over the place. Rough country made an adapter to add to the pillar mounts (like a straight bar with holes) to mount the round lights. but they have discontinued it for some reason...the KC ones look to be the best, but again, so costly.
Another option would be the Gobi rack and add lights to that...but with a minimum 16 week lead-time....that's a tough wait.

I wish the JSeries bars had a JL equivalent; the position-light feature means they can have some usability on-road.

The KC universal light bar "adapter" was 50", however the DV8 light bar mounts were not.
It shows 50" on the listing and is advertised on all sites as that, but in reality its 52.5". So I pulled out the old 3D printer and made some spacers. They have been on for 2 days and seem to work well now. When I have time Ill make some that look nicer, but there work for now.

I use a 50" Rigid Industries Radiance light bar. I have never heard it whistle at any speed which is weird, because the one I had on my JK made noise. But I haven't driven my JL with the roof on since I installed the light. That might make a difference because it doesnt make any noise with the roof off.

Its a Road Armor Stealth Series mount. I love that it completely replaces the factory cowl pieces and doesnt mount on top of them like all the others I've seen.

Thanks! Here in the install video for it. The bracket is from KC. They should have it posted on their website by end of day Friday.

Yes, you can..but I had to make some spacers....

p.s.I didn't like the KC mounts for the only reason I'm tall and couldn't see out the window after installation. I wanted the whole light over the cab
