Meanwhile OP is like how the heck this thread still going? lol
It is still going because this printed manual insistence is a proxy for old thinking holding Jeep back.

The same people screaming for a 600-page, outdates. tree-killing printed manual, were screaming for Jeep to spend $1B launching a JL diesel (which predictably died after 3 years, because diesel does not suit a light SUV), they scream for folding windshields (that no one evel folds, and just cause wind noise and water intrusion, they scream for the giant transfer case control stick (that prevents Jeep from adding things like a wireless charger or storage in that space), they scream for a manual transmission (that is a useless afterthought in a non-sporty vehicle), and on and on and on.

It's causing Jeep to divert resources that could truly advance the platform, because Jeep is bombarded by and afraid to lose the old guard.

That is why I so admire Land Rover. They ignored all the critics, left the old decrepit Defender behind, and launched the New Defender on a modern IFS/IRS platform that outsells the old Defender by more than 10 to 1. The stupid idiot that started Ineos was convinced LR made a mistake and launched an old Defender clone - and they can't give that s%$# away, even with a BMW engine.

One mans wireless charger is another mans printed manual.
If you think a printed manual is holding Jeep back from greatness that is hilarious....
You're just making excuses for corporate greed.

Your point is the same one as the fools that cry that the v6 doesnt have an engine cover anymore. Stelantis wanted to save money so they did, at least with the owners manual you still get it digitally. Stop being cheap and spend the $60 and get a manual if its really that big of a deal to you. Or just keep crying about it online and hope someone eventually takes pity on you.
I happen to like my engine cover, I think the engines w/o one look naked, and it saves you from answering the question "what engine is this"?
So guess I won the lottery a engine cover and a printed manual.πŸ™ƒπŸŽ‚... I did also get a spare tire cover that I never used.
Next thread "Should Jeep give you TWO FOB's"?

No vehicle should come with a printed manual that is 600 pages long.

In fact in 2025, if you need a manual to operate anything in your vehicle, then your vehicle is improperly designed. An iPhone can do a lot more than a car - and they don't come with a manual to operate. The device guides you gives you a scripted "tour" and offers suggestions as you go along.

Besides any printed manual is obsolete before the vehicles is built. Particularly these days, when vehicles are constantly being updated over the air. Printed manuals are more likely to be dangerously out of date.

A searchable electronic copy of the manual should be presented on the vehicles entertainment screen, with a copy on your phone or phone app, with those copies tailored to the exact model and options you have, vs the useless hundreds of pages that don't even apply to your vehicle, like all the Rubicon lockers and disconnected sway bars on a Sahara.

Jeep should be bold and ditch printed manuals once and for all. You can't live in 2025 like it is 1925. What is next? You want a printed phone book?
600 pages for the entire manual is nothing! We have 600 pages of "what oil to use" somewhere in this forum! πŸ˜„

Well obviously they should only give you one fob because that's all you need and charge you $500 if you want a 2nd fob.

The Jeep needs to keep the manual transfer case but the rest I dont disagree on. The previous gen taco had a big issue where if it thought you didnt need, or had been a bit bound up it wouldnt select 4wd or 4lo becaus the computer thought it knew better.

Jeep Wrangler JL $50,000 vehicle does not include printed manual? {filename}
Sorry I’ll only give you a C- on this. You did make an effort but failed to included the ctritical emotional backstory.

Example: My 15 year old, three legged blind cat has leukemia, and cannot cope with life’s challenges unless it has a 2025 Jeep Wrangler printed manual near it at all times. I suspect my wife, who recently discovered she was a lesbian and ran away with our housekeeper Helga, took the printed manual knowing my cat Hoser and I would live out our final days in misery.

Maybe you have some physical anomaly that people would pay to see on your Only Fans page. Try this and check back with us.

LOL...here's another example:

Due to rising costs, my family can no longer afford to repair the numerous "Jeep Things" in our JLUR 392 XR High Water Sahara, and my poor distraught wife is unable to use the infotainment system in the vehicle. Even worse, is that our live-at-home 35 year-old son can no longer spend 23.5 hours a day playing Grand Theft Auto and "watching" internet porn because we also lost internet access. Both are experiencing severe distress and mental trauma as a result, but I can't drive them to receive medical care because it is inconvenient and boring to operate our Jeep without the infotainment system. Please take pity on our struggling family and donate whatever you can to our desperate cause. Thanks for your sympathy and understanding during this difficult time.

I think the reason he is fighting so hard for a manual is he thinks he would have actually read it and not driven around town in 4h and then made a thread about it.
