Thank you. They are the Mickey Thompson Pro XS. They are gnarley in person and super, super soft compound. They drive really good for how aggressive they are. The fender delete kit is the American Adventure Labs set up. I'm running the Metalcloak 3.5 and needed more clearance. I have the Truss kit for front and rear and RCV's coming. I've built 6 Jeeps just like this (4 JK's/2 JL's) and wheeled a lot of places with this kind of setup and have never bent or broke an axle/housing, not worried at all.
That's good to know because I would like to do 40s but I'm not going to do it if it'll break an axle but I will have a problem with the garage I don't want to leave it sitting out at night every night and my garage door is too short for 40s

I'm no pro or offroad guru by any means, not even close, but I've done some semi hard trails (John Bull most recent) and go easy on the gas and bump carefully. Can it happen, sure. I've never had an issue over 10 years and 6 rigs. Maybe I'm lucky, or maybe its paying attention to my lines and binding when i'm on the trail.

Just went to 40s with a Dynatrac lift plus some Synergy and other parts. Rubi axles with Barnes truss system. Just chromoly shafts for now. Let’s see what happens.

What delete kit did you go with ? you didn't want to put the running lights with the turn signals of front like American venture or a rugged ridge has now?

I used the Motobilt brackets to save a little.

How are you guys not rubbing the front inner liners rear wheel wells!? It’s driving me nuts. Already cut up my new tires.

I’m running hydro front bumps lowered all the way down. 4” bump stops in the rear and trimmed wheel well, Road armor fenders, 3.5” lift, 1.75” wheel spacers and I still rub.

I love the clearance 40’s gives me off-road but the rubbing is driving me absolutely crazy!

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I added more bump stop pads. I'm using the ones from Metalcloak. They are stackable.

For the inner liners I see you have AAL already - What is the backspace of your wheels???

You should be running 3.5” or lower BS numerically for 40’s... 4.5” is not enough backspace and you need new wheels with more offset.

As for the rear you have to cut all that body off and do a rear fender chop!

I fucking hate the rubbing too... still not sure if this was enough cutting but next time I flex it I will see...

Are you not also hitting the firewall in front??
That’s the one driving me the most crazy...

I’m already at 4” and using the same Metalcloak ones. So are you sacrificing all your up travel!?

Not hitting the firewall up front. Hitting the front of my fenders.

Looks like I cut more away than your pic and still rub. You running spacers as well?

My current backspacing is 4.5. I ordered a new set of KMC beadlocks and the backspacing is 3.5. And I’m running 1.75” spacers on all 4 corners. Was gonna drop back in tire size because I can’t figure this out.

I don’t want to loose all my uptravel I’m prepping for a trip to Moab in a few months and right now since she’s hitting the tub before full flex it’s super tippy and makes me nervous for Moab.

I bought extra pads and stacked 5. Yes I am losing some uptravel but I'm alright with it. I'm no longer slicing into my tires.

If fact you cut WAYY less that me in the rear. I’m sorry to say but you made the same exact mistake I did. And it’s a fucking expensive one...

You need to ditch your front and rear fenders and go to chopped Rubicon one with a LED chop kit for the front.

i know because I made the same exact mistake with Nemesis fenders... you cut as close as you could to your fenders in the back. But it’s not enough...
