Say axles/tcase are taken care of. Anyone swap an adequate manual transmission into a JL392 with success?

No! But I now have a JL equiped motor similar to that of the 6 speed motor and definitely see no reason for the manual! Thanks!
This not a factory 392, very sweet jeep- Iāve driven it, but this is a full conversion of a 3.6 rubicon.
Sure, thatās a full conversion. But, he asked about a manual transmission that can handle the 392, and I linked directly to the transmission that is handling a 392. Weāre coming up on the one-year mark since that conversion was complete, so it might be worth asking how itās holding up. Of course the actual swapping process is going to be more complicated than plug and play. This not a factory 392, very sweet jeep- Iāve driven it, but this is a full conversion of a 3.6 rubicon.
OP is asking about taking a factory 392 and making it a manual.
There are plenty of conversions out there holding strong, and older than this one. OP specifically stated JL392 in his post, and confirms it in post #6 that they were entertaining converting their current JLU with factorSure, thatās a full conversion. His original post alluded to mating a manual tramsmission to a meep with a factory equipped 392, hence the JL392 reference. And in fact, Iād confirmed in his post #6. This is what i am also interested in hearing a out from anybody that has done it, if it has been done.Sure, thatās a full conversion. He alluded to both a full conversion and a partial one in his original post. He talks about taking care of the axles and tcase, which would only need to be done for a more complete conversion. He confirmed heās talking about just a transmission (and any applicable changes for mating/electronics) after I posted with the only one I know on this forum that has a manual 392. Bit, thank you for feeling the need to point this out explicitly. There are plenty of conversions out there holding strong, and older than this one. This conversion is still running strong, as are many others on the road that are much older. But, I and the OP already own a Jeep with the factory equipped 392, just missing the manual transmission. And, there is just something about shifting through the gears
