Im really trying to decide which 37s I want to run, and am stuck between the K02s, the Ridge Grapplers, and the Cooper STT max. My heart wants the coopers, because they look so damn good, but living on the east coast and only occasionally traveling out west for Jeep trips, my brain is telling me to go with the AT, I am curious if anyone is running the K02s on aftermarket wheels in a 37" flavor, with 4.3-4.5" of backspacing (meaning the tires poke out past the fenders.) Would be a huge help in my decision making if anyone has this combo. I know some people run them on stock wheels tucked in, and that optical illusion makes them look a lot smaller. Thanks for any help!

I was wondering as well, whether people run Mud tires all year round or switch out tires during the winter. This will be my first jeep and don't currently have the space to keep a second set of tires. Either going with the KO2's or STT Pro's depending on the respond from those in the know. Thanks

I've also read the to STT Pro's did pretty good in a couple winter performance reviews

If not for the winter up here I would have bought the Coopers hands down. But as far as winter traction there is no comparison. The STT’s are the standard mud tire in the ice, maybe a tad better. The KO2s are almost like running dedicated snowtires. Amazing.

I will have two sets of wheels and tires. I want to get some KO2’s in 35 to use as my daily and winter tires. Then use the STT’s mainly for wheeling. I want a good street tire to keep the ride nice for most of what I do.

You live in Utah, if I lived in Utah, I wouldn't even think about the K02s, it would be STTs all the way. I however, live in NJ, and only wheel in Utah once a year, so for 99.5% of the time, I am on pavement, which makes me think I wont be super happy with a mud tire.

i’m about to order the ridge grapplers - you can get a c rating on the 34.5 inch ones, so much better daily driver and has mud hybrid with all terrain

For 35s IMHO the Duratrac 315s are the way to go, and that's what Im running on my JKU. The only reason Im not getting duratracs for the JL is because I want 37s, and they dont/wont make them in a 37" size. It is a spectacular tire.

I went to the Nitto Ridge Grappler site. I don’t see a C rated tire in 17”? At least not in 34.5 in. size.

Here’s my new set up:

37 KO2s with KMC Machete wheels 3.5” backspacing
No lift ( I plan to separate my fenders and install artec inner fenders).

According to the Nitto spec sheet that tire is 33.86” diameter

LT285/75R17 C 117/114Q 217210 16.4 33.86 11.26 7.5-(8.0)-9.5 2835/2600 @ 50 65.08

I just didn’t want you to order the wrong tire and make an expensive mistake. I’ve been looking for a C ply 35” tire too and can’t find much other than the 315x70Rx17 BFG Ko2. But I like the Nitto tire tread pattern.

FYI there is a Nitto Trail Grappler C rated tire in a 35x11.5x17 but it’s only 11.4 inches wide. The Trail Grapplers are a combination of the Mud Grappler and the Terra Grappler. Nice aggressive tread pattern! Good luck.
