I just sent you an email. I have a UD44 and rubi rear axle with 5.38s. The front is new and the rear has a fresh set of gears in it. Please call or text me if you’re interested. I’m hardly ever on here. My ig is @sage8jl. I put my number in the email I sent.
They are just shy of 38 inches on the jeep. They have been good so far in the snow and ice. I don't have any complaints. I will say they are a beyotch to get balanced on the beadlocks but thats just the nature of the beast with that big of a tire on a beadlock wheel...
It's the Falcon EF2.2 for a JK. It comes with the clamp and trackbar mount all as one unit. They have two clamp sizes... one that fits the stock JK Tie Rod and 1 5/8" options. I used the 1 5/8" option for the Steer Smarts Yeti XD Tie Rod. Worked out really well and lifted the stabilizer up out...
So it’s been awhile since I have logged on and a lot has changed on the JL since my last post. My initial build goals have gone out the window (that didn’t take long).
I will do a brief update now with pics and then do a write up on everything thing I have done later.
If you want up to date...
Well, I got rid of the ugly ass front bumper! My J4 front and rear bumpers should be here in about a week and a half. Until then I will be bumperless!:like:
I don't think they are any worse off than any other tire Ive wheeled with. They have definitely seen their fair share of red rock and dirt roads. I would say the chunking is average for the amount of off-road driving they have done. they have about 3K miles on them so far. Ive had the Coopers...
Well it has been awhile since I last posted and a few things have changed on the JL.
- I installed a set of KMC XD Machete Bead locks, -38 offset, 3.5" backspace with 37" BFG KO2's
- I separated my fenders and installed the Artec fender chop kit and turn signals
- Installed a set of Artec...
With regular street driving I didn't rub at all on anything, but with any amount of flex off-road it definitely rubbed. I have since chopped my fenders and I am in the process of installing Artec inner fenders... here are more pictures.
Well Moab 2018 is in the books. it was awesome to go down and see all the new stuff coming out for the JL. While down there I went ahead and ran Hells Revenge and I couldn't be more impressed with this Jeep. The only issues I had were height and break-over related. I got high centered a few...
Well I took the Jeep out for a little drive this evening and I can’t tell you how impressed I am with the JL platform... by far the smoothest, best handling Jeep I’ve owned to date. I’m excited to start building this thing. The fit and finish is top notch!
My new JL just arrived off the truck today!! To say that I’m excited would be an understatement!
I officially take deliver of it tomorrow! I will post more pictures as soon as I get it!
