I had chrome wheels on my 2010 JKU while in Florida and they did fine for 6 years. Once I moved it to Ohio, they started to pit only one day after the roads were treated for ice.
I like the look of a chrome or machined wheel but not willing to waste the money if they can't hold up to the winter road chemicals in Ohio and I'd rather not have to have two sets of wheels.
Any suggestions on what to look for or recommendations from the northerners who keep their 'bright' wheels on year round?
