So, I was really excited when Jeep finally offered the 35" package on the JL 2-doors and contacted my dealer to order a JLR-X, I personally like the full time transfer case along with the other '24 interior upgrades. Then in typical Jeep fashion, the wheels soon came off on my attempt to order:

1, Found you cannot order the 3.6 W/ 35" package...but only on the 2-door JL, no problem however to order the 3.6 W/35" on 4-door JL's.

2, After a couple of days of grumbling to myself I said F' it and contacted dealer again to place an order for a '24 JLR-X W/35" and the factory Warn winch option...NOPE, cannot order a 2-door JL-X with a 2.0 and winch! Yet again, NO problem ordering a 4-door JL-X with a 2.0 and Warn winch! (Or a 4-door with 3.6 W/35" package and winch)

If you factory order a 4-door with winch the front suspension is calibrated for the additional weight via spring rates and differently calibrated shocks. I know you can install a winch yourself (I built my '20 JLR and did every nut and bolt myself from full suspension to Warn bumpers and winch) and could compensate for any front sag by adding small spacers to the front springs but for the price they are charging...

Right now I am in a holding pattern waiting to see if Jeep pulls their collective heads out of their ass and fixes these omissions. My neighbors new 2-door Bronco is really starting to look sweet...
