22 Rubi, backup camera doesn't work

Checked wiring and nothing is unplugged.

When I put it in reverse screen DOESNT change to anything

When I put it in reverse with parking brake on and a block of wood wedging the brake pedal, both reverse lights come on (all lighting is stock OEM)

Tried the hold power/volume control for 15 seconds, in my opinion it never "rebooted"

Tranny knows its in reverse, the lights, dash indicator and the fact it backs up tells me that is good.

No error codes on dash or radio

Manually going to apps on screen and touching the backup camera does nothing

Any ideas?

I actually noticed it Monday when I went to the store and backed out; last weekend the radio screen got wet from drizzle etc to the point I had to keep drying it off so water drops running down the face didn't change settings

It's a Uconnect bug that was never properly fixed. Even my 2018 with the 8.4" screen had it occasionally, which went away after I ripped it out and replaced it with an aftermarket infotainment system. It can take about a day to fix itself.

Well that explains it because Uconnect updated last Saturday going to the trail and I had shit signal.

Is there a way to manually update it again since I have signal now?

I think there's another way to hard reboot.

Do you have a tazer? It definitely does it with a full Tazer reboot.
