Only the first 100 has to be under 55. Then the next 200 the say to go around 55 and give it brief open throttle. I was able to keep it at 55ish, and every now and then just gas it up to like 65/70 and then back to 55. Its really not as bad or hard as it sounds.

I drove the first hundred miles as I was supposed to, but hubs had to take it to work Tuesday (all highway driving) so I know he didn't stick to that. It was only the one day.

Got an e-mail from Jeep Cares today telling me my Wrangler was delivered and I should contact my dealer. Uhh...I picked it up a week ago.:like:

BTW I love it (as does my son who uses it...and he hates driving). Can't wait for a good snow.

I got mine saying it was delivered while I was signing the paperwork to pick it up. The tracker still shows “TBD” for shipping.

I didn't see a separate Willys waiting room. I just got an anvil JLUW confirmed. Any thoughts on Willys production? In searching for new ones, I see mostly 4xe.

I mean I haven’t asked but I can’t even get my deposit back so I doubt it
If anything just see if they can apply the deposit to that order if anything

There is an Anvil waiting room if you wanted to post there

Apparently on his side it shows it’ll be delivered tomorrow but he believes it’ll be closer to the end of the month. Of course I leave for work for 5 weeks next Sunday … so guess I’m doing the paper work and buying it sight unseen not the end of the world I guess

Have them send videos and photos of everything before you sign for it.

Per my dealer the Jeep "Sold Order Price Protection" requires you to "take ownership" within 14 days of delivery. So definitely talk to your dealer about that, if you can go ahead and do the paperwork and virtually "take ownership" within the first 2 weeks. It would suck if after all this waiting they jacked up the price because you were out of town.

Gonna send my parents over there so it’s not sitting on the lot for 2 weeks and also so someone has eyes on it
There you go, just give them the checklist so they can overlook everything for you.

Yeah he said we can do the deal via docusign or pending the bank he will just overnight papers for financing .. it’s more concerned with figuring out how to wire my down payment I’ve had 6 months to save I have about half the jeeps worth in a down payment ?

I am planning the same -from Lake Charles to DFW area. cost is not much more than a flight down plus gas driving back and it would be slow trip back doing the break in thing.
Yep, driving 55 in Texas is not even applicable on backroads with posted 70 limits. Plus I drive and fly alot for work, so why not just have it shipped right to me

Yes, thanks, and there is a Sport/Sport S waiting room -- Willys technically being w/in that category (JLJL) -- but seeming to be a beast of its own in 2024, and maybe produced on a different schedule? Hopefully they are rolling off the line (not just 4xe).

I think with the new year they can focus on gas now since the tax credits people want for 4xE now wouldn’t be till 2025, just my thought
