2024 Order Waiting Room

Yes, I plan to have it delivered to my house. Mainy due to the breakin period concern, it would take me forever to drive backroads from Louisiana to Texas and keep it under 55 mph.

I ordered from Louisiana as well but I live in Arizona so it would be a long drive for me. I do not want to drive through Houston. ? I’m just curious about other people’s experience with delivery.

I have not posted an update in a bit, between travel down to Tennessee to pick up the Jeep and back to work its been crazy. But, I am home with my new Jeep. Left it alone for about 23 hours then put the new wheels and 35's on it. Wife wasn't too happy that I spent $50,000 on a new car and already planning to drop over $10,000 more this month. I told her "welcome to owning a Jeep" hahaha.

Drive home from Tennessee to Connecticut was pretty straight forward. Kept to back roads for the first 150 miles, then another 150 on the highway keeping around 55mph. The JL's drive a million times better than my last YJ. Who would have thought, 34 year newer model is way nicer! Even the horrible clutch everyone was talking about really wasn't that bad once you got used to it. Its mushy for sure, but really not horrible like I was expecting. My wife was saying how easy it was for her to drive even having limited experience with a manual.

Renee at Gupton was awesome to deal with. I would 100% recommend doing business with them. They picked me up at the airport around noon, before 3pm I was driving away with the Jeep. Great company and great people there. Good luck to everyone still waiting, its worth it!

Only the first 100 has to be under 55. Then the next 200 the say to go around 55 and give it brief open throttle. I was able to keep it at 55ish, and every now and then just gas it up to like 65/70 and then back to 55. Its really not as bad or hard as it sounds.

127 days. It took them 127 days to get a 2 door Willys to the dealership. Considering 46 of those days were the strike delay, I'd say we did pretty good. Lost out on offers though.

On a side note, we're back a few squares. My wife drove her brand new Willys to work, immediately called me and said there's a strange sound. The strange sound turned into a defective rear differential, and now we wait for a replacement rear axle.

We were so close.

Auto correct threw in test when I meant to type rear. I fixed it, but not fast enough. And yes, brand new complete rear axle from the factory.

I am planning the same -from Lake Charles to DFW area. cost is not much more than a flight down plus gas driving back and it would be slow trip back doing the break in thing.

Those new wheels and tires look great! I know the feeling, I've been collecting parts for the past 5 months for mine once it finally arrives.

Jeep finally was schedule at day 200 but 30 days later and no further movement this bitch might be 8 months before I finally see it if not longer .. Dealer is also blown away .. but nothing I can really do my deposit is locked in

No ? my shits so basic .. I didn’t even pick every option it’s just a damn rubicon early grey with a basic ass hard too and the confidence package and some other stuff

Wow, that's crazy! Did your dealer offer to sell you a comparable model off the lot for the same price? Might be an option if you get tired of waiting. I'm at 147 days myself, but mine is scheduled to be delivered any day now.

They show as in transit on Eshop after they leave the factory even if they are still on the lot in Toledo.

This. Mine was in transit in the e-shop for 10 days and the drive from Toledo to my dealer is estimated at 90 minutes.
