now shows it as TBD for shipping but I know the other day I looked at it and it had today as an estimated delivery date even though now it says TBD. Hoping my jeep shows up at my dealer this week.
That’s usually a good sign. Did it show that it was shipped? Going from shipped back to TBD usually means your Jeep is sitting at the dealership waiting for you.

Yeah it did show that it was shipped even though the shipped date is TBD since Jeep's tracker isn't very smart LOL. My dealer is closed today so I'm hoping it shows up within the next day or 2.

Beautiful Jeep, but that's insane on the part of your dealer. Your salesman should have been watching for your Wrangler and something should have triggered in his/her head when this model came in, "Hey, I've got a customer waiting on that exact vehicle". So lucky that they haven't sold it out from under you.
Yes, you would think the lady who submitted my build to Jeep, and gave me my VON and tracker link would have been following the build along with me. But a month or so after she entered my order, she swapped jobs at the dealership, and didn't bother to let me know to make contact with someone else. My email to her regarding the tracker estimating delivery the end of August bounced as a non existent address, so I will blame the dealership for just leaving me to guess why it bounced, as it was their server that bounced it.

My sales lady did give me a couple more contacts early on, but contact 2 had also swapped jobs, moving next door to sell Volkswagen's, and she is the one who told me my build was "in paint" and to ignore the tracker's estimates on delivery.

In the meantime the strike screwed things up, but when that ended I tried to make contact with the third name I was given. That message also bounced, as the guy had also swapped jobs but still worked for the dealership.

At the end of November I visited their online sales page and saw a Anvil Rubicon X 4Xe on their lot, but no mention of my other option, the Mopar tailgate strengthener and the VIN was different. Turns out it did have the tailgate backbone, and it was the one with my name on the window sticker that nobody noticed but me after I took it home!

It was also the end of November when I used their online representative (the little box that pops up with we're here with live help for messaging or texting!), and Elizabeth relayed my request to the dealership for an update. A couple of days later a sales rep called, and I'll tell you what, if I hadn't heard AutoNation in his first sentence I would have hung up. The accent was so strong I couldn't understand most of what the guy was saying, but did figure out he was asking for my VON, which I gave him. A week later he emailed that my Jeep would be there soon, and I could fill out paperwork online to speed things up, things I had already provided through my original sales rep. Turned out the caller was a salesman and Russian immigrant, and they kinda got the hint that he shouldn't be working any deals on the phone.

The day after Christmas the dealership GM messaged, asking how everything was going, and he wanted the good and the bad. I explained the whole ordeal and three days later I drove it off the lot!

So yes, you'd think the dealership should have spotted my name on the invoice last September, or whenever it really arrived on the lot. It probably went to some prep area first where they get new arrivals ready to sell, then out to the lot. I wouldn't expect those employee's to have anything to do with checking for sold status (not my job, man) on custom orders. And the office and sales personnel probably go by what their computers tell them, so never bother to read the window invoices.

At this point, I'd say the blame goes 90% to Jeep for screwing up my VIN number when order was placed, and 10% to the dealership for not noticing my name on the window. The dealership also needs to do something about bouncing emails, like have them relayed to whomever takes over the position that got changed. Damn computers, anyway!!! A.I. would have caught it!

What a roller coaster! WOW! I can't believe nobody at the dealer caught on that the sticker had someone's name on it and didn't check to see what was up with that. They dropped the ball as much as anybody else did I think. Glad you finally got your Jeep!
"E" ticket ride for sure!

127 days. It took them 127 days to get a 2 door Willys to the dealership. Considering 46 of those days were the strike delay, I'd say we did pretty good. Lost out on offers though.

They weren't able to lock in the offers that were available when you placed the order?

usually the offer has a disclaimer where it is time of delivery during that offer period. I havent seen/heard of a dealer honoring after the fact since the promotion is through Stellantis. Just my opinion

Lots of posts on this forum about dealers being able to lock in the offers that were available at the time of order. And then the customer can either use those or the offers that are available at time of delivery. But not any that come and go in between those dates.

Unless that falls under the price protection

Wrangler on order
Today marks 245 days since I ordered my 2dr sport v6 mt duel doors
Contacted dealer this morning and he got a hold of his rep who said don’t expect this until march or April
Due to it being a low volume order all I got to say is if I hold out till then it better be absolutely perfect or I’ll turn into the customer from Hell ?

The $1000 "Bonus Cash" required me to take delivery by today, but it hasn't arrived at the dealer yet and the Jeep website isn't offering that anymore. Which sucks, I'm going to probably miss it by just a few days.

I hope so. That's how the dealer explained it to me when I ordered. I just lost out on $7,500 from Dec to Jan if that's not the case.
that tax credits I think fall under different criteria as I thought that was government provided to the manfacturerers
