Hey Matt! I don’t know if you worked some magic and gave you know who a shout or just word of mouth but they actually contacted me this morning…

She said my file somehow got crossed with another salesperson that doesn’t work there anymore and that’s why there hasn’t been any response form them. I’ll take that on face value from them.

Everyone else that’s following along, after a chat with management here’s where we landed. They gave me my deposit back but I was able to keep the order. We’re all scratching our head… the dealer swears the order is good… Jeep Cares said it was cancelled… who the heck knows!

I haven’t flat out bad mouthed Dan Cummins because I know none of this is directly their fault. Once an order goes in the computer it’s out of everyone’s hands… I was slightly irritated that I couldn’t get in contact with anyone but they offered an explanation and we got that resolved!

As of now… I still have my Dan Cummins order we placed back on Launch Month in March that’s in C/D status waiting for D1 going on 140 days now and a new order I placed with a closer dealer on 8/4 that is also in C/D status waiting for D1 now after 3 days…

So we shall see! I’ve tried to be transparent and honest and say I have had a good experience with the PEOPLE at Dan Cummins, especially after today they were at least willing to refund my deposit since something screwy seems to be going on but I’ve tried to remind people, these orders aren’t the fault of the sales person or the dealership once they go in the computer… so we’ll see what happens! If the newer order shows up first; then we know something weird happened on Jeeps end…

If the Dan Cummins order goes D1 and gets built I’d still love to give them my business. Heck I’ve waited 130 days just for D1 before opening a case with Jeep Cares because I’d like to buy a Jeep from them and stand by them… I like to support DRC as I love their content and my experience with the sales person was fantastic until this whatever happened that isn’t directly her or anyone else at the dealerships fault. We’ll see what happens!

This will be an interesting experiment now… we have an order places right around launch day and a second one 5 months later for a pretty standard build… just a 3.6 A/T RubiconX with One Touch…. The race is on ?
Good to hear you got your deposit back! I guess we’ll all be here waiting along with you, rooting that you get your Jeep soon ??

I got a 5.49 apr from my local credit union. That has been their rate since March when we initially ordered. We really thought that was the rate we were headed for but we're still waiting on our Jeep (ordered on 3/16, shipped on 7/15). Anyway, after some sulking last week about the delivery getting pushed out even further, our loan officer reached out and offered a new rate of 3.63%.
So as much as we'd love to be riding around in our new jeep, we've saved more for our down and got nearly 2 points off our planned interest rate.

4.99 is the lowest I’ve seen around here. Kudos to your for sub 4%.

Hopefully a 2024 wrangler
my jeep (Rubicon XJLU) has been built for weeks now and they keep moving the delivery date out. 34 days estimated to get a built jeep from Toledo Ohio to Buffalo 295miles, one road.

this is ridiculous.
Oh man, I’m in Rochester, I hope it doesn’t take that long. As of right now my estimated delivery date is 8/23. My dealer said it usually takes about 2 weeks to get here from Toledo ?

Yep Same boat as you. Looks like a bunch of 392's went to D 1 that day, and then nothing.
There was a mix up with mine, and I reached out asking for a status update... and they said it's on the lot... but it was not a 392 and obviously not mine. Initially I was told build date was 26 July ish... now I'm being told 7 September.
What a s*** show. Lol. Whats funny is, i originally wanted a Rubicon X 2.0L turbo, 8 speed with 4.56 gears. But since you cant even order that, I just sprung for the 392.

I did drive a 3.6L Rubicon X with 4.10s over the weekend. It just didn't feel peppy. So. If I cant get a 2.0L turbo in Rubicon X in my exact spec, I have no choice but to wait.

One month in, still getting this. Talked to Jeep Chat, they confirmed what the dealer told me that I am in D status and have a VIN, but they have no idea why it wont show on the tracker.

I just want to check 57 times a day for an update that I know wont be there damnit!!!!

I ordered back in April… none of the trackers work for me, so I’m just trusting the assurances from the dealer and JeepCares that the order actually exists.

Has anyone seen or purchased any dash hardware mounts yet for the 2024 dash? Mount for phones/handheld radios or other peripheral devices? Pictures?
67 Designs has their phone mounts ready for the 2024s! One of the first "mods" I'll be doing when mine comes in.

I ordered mine on 7/7....none of the trackers show my order. The same was true for me in 2019 when I ordered. My experience is most people these trackers work but for some (like me and probably you) they don't. Just go into your dealership from time to time and they can look up where your Jeep is in the process of things. Currently I'm in D1 with an estimate ship date of 9/6. At the end of August I will go in and see if this is still on track or if the speed has increased or decreased.

I ordered the same day, wish mine was going D1, but with the manual I think I might be in for a wait. I have been checking in with the dealer a few times, but at that same time I hate to bother them. Cant really pop in and ask, I ordered from Gupton, a short 15 hour drive haha.

I know many of you are still waiting for your Jeep to be produced/delivered. However, here's a quick recommendation:

When you get it, I highly recommend checking your tire pressure. With cold tires, I dropped ours from 40 to 35 psi (rated at 37psi per the data plate on the door). After driving for a while, I noticed it wandering more than normal (for a Jeep) so I checked it again and it was back up to 40psi with warm tires. So I adjusted it again.

5-10psi makes a huge difference in drivability at highway speeds!

Do you mind sharing the name of the credit union? I'm keeping a list of ones that I qualify to join and their current rate. I've shared that list a few times here in the past month or so a couple of times.

I was under the impression that all the X versions came with the 4.56 gears. What config was it to have the 4.10 gears?

If you leave the manual transmission, the tires remain 33" and so the gearing remains 4.10. If you add the auto transmission, it automatically adds 35" tires and the higher gears and a 1 1/2" lift.

At least that's how it works on the Build Your Jeep page.
