2024 Sport S w/ 700 miles. My Uconnect screen keeps freezing up when I start the Jeep. It will come on, the music will play and the CarPlay will connect, but the touchscreen won't respond. One time, it glitched a bit in the corner of the screen. Holding the power button to reboot it works and fixes the issue. (Thanks Dirt Road Cred for having a video about how to do this, which was the first Google result when I was sitting in a parking lot). It happened a few times a week, but this week it is happening at least once a day. The wireless CarPlay doesn't connect sometimes, but the wired will still work when that happens.

What do you think? Is this a "Yeah, they all do that," or a "Take it to the dealer!" My level of annoyance is low, but growing.

I love this Jeep otherwise! So happy with this decision.

Have you tried a soft reboot of the Uconnect system (hold down the power button and tune button at same time for about 30 seconds)?

Seems to be a lot of issues with this new uconnect. Unfortunately, you’ll have to wait for a software update or do the scary thing and take it back to the dealer. There’s really no other options. We can’t fix them ourselves. Jeep was never known for great electronics, but since the new owners took over, it seems to have gone downhill. I would never own an electric jeep. Like the 4XE. Hope you get it sorted.

I've been holding down the power button until it shuts off and then rebooting it. It goes back to the boot screen, so I think I'm accomplishing the same thing.

Did you ever look into this? I have the same exact issues with my 2025 Jeep Wrangler. Curious if you ever had Jeep look at it or anyone try to diagnose.
