Same here. Idk why I expected movement. We won't see anything until the strike is settled I don't think which could be another 1-2 months at this point at least. Doesn't even sound like GM or Stellantis are close. Fords offer honestly sounds more than fair. I'd be stoked about those kind of bumps at my job.

We got two weeks, anything is possible. To be honest though, I wouldn’t mind if mine was built after the strike (if a strike takes place). I would rather wait a bit longer and have a vehicle that was assembled by happy content workers than the current upset and disgruntled workers. Im not saying that the workers would intentionally do a bad job but nobody gives 100% when they are unhappy.

The Bikini order showed in the tracker after only 1 day… my prior VON took over 100 days to show in the tracker for whatever reason.

The Tuscadero is a cool color too but not for me personally.

It’s fun when you’re with your wife or family as a whole cause it’s a real head turner…but when you’re by yourself driving it as a [mostly] macho dude…nah lol we both love the bikini color so we’ll see if we can get it for a decent price and/or if it won’t take forever and a year.

Should be able to but just know you may be in for a decent wait. While it sucks waiting it should be worth it in the end. I know for me I have no car so that makes it hard just having my wife's vehicle for now. Over a month and counting at this point.

I feel like it looks like a little darker and more metallic than in pictures.

Then again, I have only seen it a few times. It looks really good with Rubicon trim IMO.

I would say yes but it really just depends on the time of day and weather conditions, like being overcast or bright and sunny when you are viewing it. The colors shifts shades depending on the color temperature of light that is on the paint.

thanks for this...i probably also should have been more clear in my wording...i was wondering if it looks more teal than in pictures or less teal than in pictures

For NEW Owners of Bikini Pearl, my hope is that being a limited run, that the paint will be as good as what I have on my 2020 Willys JL. While I have not buffed it out to a sheen like my JK had, the paint thickness and the clearcoat seem very very good. I’ve not yet been on any really tight trails yet, so I’ve not had the need to buff her out.

When I say limited, I rarely see another 2 door Bikini Pearl anywhere. My wife and I saw one locally when we started our search for a JL and she fell in love with the color so that looked in color preference for the used Jeep search.

I kind of ran the numbers and for a 2 door hardtop, V6 Stick, Base Willys I’ll bet less than 50 in that configuration were made. Does that mean anything? Probably not, but it was nice knowing I’ll probably not see another one anytime soon.

Now time to order my Bestop Sunrider Top today so I can make it a little more special for ME!
