Those prices are really low, interesting. For $300sub + $150install was the price of the amp and labor not included?

Yes the sub is a hs10 kicker powered sub. It was 300 and some change plus 150 labor.

Speaker pod next to glove box for audio, though I would probably just tap speaker bar if I had it to do over. Either way run to amp under seat. Will need line to rca converter. Then out on amp to new alpine speakers in speaker bar and also to the soft top mounts for the speaker pods.

What did you get for the soundbar speakers? I have the standard (non-amplified) sound system in my ā€˜24 Willys, and I’m upgrading the entire system (10ā€ subwoofer w/enclosure, 5-channel amp, replacing front speakers with a 3.5ā€ coaxial dash and new 6.5ā€ speakers in the knees, etc), but I’m not finding ANYTHING available right now for the new soundbar design in the ’24s. Ideally I’d like to just get a 6x9ā€œ adaptor pod instead of buying a ā€œloadedā€ all-in-one replacement, but at this rate I can’t find ANYTHING!

The internals for the pod are the same so if you’re using a cut out template for 6x9 you’ll be fine. I fit alpine 5 and1/4 and cut to fit. The real changes are in the enclosure it abuts to, there are 2 inflator cartridges for the airbags and the light is redesigned.

Yeah I saw those, they released those months ago, but they’ve been out of stock everywhere for at least the past month.
Hey all! …the MB Quart 6x9 speakers cut out upgrade is back in stock, so is the knee speaker enclosure and I just placed an order today, 11/22/24. I also bought some acoustic fill and sound mat for the 6x9 project. I have the Tera Accoustics (now called Audio Uprising https://audiouprising.com/products/...tage-speaker-upgrade-polished-aluminum-accent) in the dash and those lil guys are great!

Any update? How did the install go and how do they sound?
I have the standard stereo unit and no equipment other than the Terra Acoustics (now called Audio Uprising https://audiouprising.com/products/...tage-speaker-upgrade-polished-aluminum-accent ) and the MB Quarts 6x9 in my ā€˜24 Sahara. Install was a bear. I cut in place and I should have taken the time to remove the sound bar and cut on a table. I sealed the enclosure with sticky backed sound deadening mat and filled the void with Accousta-Stuff.

for me yes, I’m pleased with the sound and outcome for my preference. The mat and stuffing made a significant impact on pushing the sound down. I do have the fade 1 point to the rear because the Terra Acoustics sound great too. The 6x9s carry good bass in the back while filling the cabin highs and mids.

doors off, rear windows out and Sky One Touch retracted, again, sounds great. At highway 75mph even sounds good.

I’ll post a video(s) of sounds with doors off on Sunday 4/27 once all this rain moves on.

Bought my wife a 24 rubicon without alpine. I’ve had JLUR with alpine and JTR with alpine and both sounded really good to me. But the base audio in her 24 sucks. Horrible, sounds like I’m listening to music on my phone speakers. What is available since some of speakers, sound bar, and dash changes. Also anyone add a kicker hideaway powered sub to 24? Thanks.
The underseat subwoofers are a waste of money. I've been in vehicles with them (buddy works at a stereo shop). They're no deeper/louder than the factory sub, maybe a tad. For how much you pay for parts and install, waste of money IMO.
If you want proper bass, you really do need a decent woofer in a properly tuned box, which takes up space. Why I'm tolerating the stock sub for now, I don't have the space for a 1.35 cubic foot box.
Shallow mount subwoofers just don't satisfy that deep bass I crave.
I've seen a custom box with two 8" subs (subdown) in a gladiator (under the rear seats), and was amazed at how deep it went. Rippled the glass, and barely took up any space in the jeep. Wasn't cheap though, its over $1k for parts and install.

iPhone 14 Pro Max. I’m not an audio expert by any means. Hope this helps
