2023 Wrangler Auto Shift button stuck

The red button on my auto shifter is stuck/broke... stays depressed.

I can freely move it from park/reverse/neutral/drive without pressing it.

Any ideas? Guessing a spring or something broke. Dealership says they don't have anyone here to look at it today, glad they booked the appointment for me though.

Now seems like a great time to swap in a nice aftermarket shifter knob, otherwise this should be covered under warranty if you still have one. I wouldn't let a dealer touch it if it is out of warranty. Not even remotely worth it.

Its got 9000 miles, its under warranty. I am thinking switch it out anyways. They want the car for 2 days... no thanks
