Was there a reason your jeep took that long to go into production?

Dealer rep said we'll never know for sure. He speculated that it was most likely due to supply chain issues - parts not available at the right time for some options, and probably for the safety groups I added. He had heard that those options had resulted in temporary delays for some orders.
What he did know for sure was that the delay had absolutely nothing to do with his dealership allocations (which had come up as a possible reason in older posts I had read.)

My dealer recently told me the same thing, but in my case it was the tech group and 8.4 radio audio group. However, I do see there's been activity as of yesterday, on those per jeeptracker.com.

Just got a build sheet! One step closer I hope! Anyone know how long from build sheet to shipping is?

I got my build sheet today too. I think our Jeeps were built side by side.

I wonder how accurate the build sheets are. I’m curious because I didn’t get Apply Car Play when I built my Willys with the salesman at the dealership, but it’s there on the sheet

Hmm I got it with mine. I read through my build sheet and it all looked good but there is a lot so who knows! Lol

Me too. And shortly after that the jeep.com pizza bar updated to reflect "Vehicle Built." Things are moving really quickly now. Two days +/- in production.

Mine went into production on the 12th and got a build sheet today. I think mine is delayed for unknown reasons. Hopefully I will see some movement soon.

So, I troll the Cryptostickers website often, and someone with a two door Sport and MT was just built. The name was Sodak2. They ordered a day before me.

That’s awesome. I hope things continue to keep on that quick pace trajectory.

I have not yet gotten the Vehicle Built notification from the pizza tracker yet. My arrival says May 21st, but my salesman was telling me “June looks like it will be the sweet spot” so we’ll see.

Of course, when I checked Jeep's order tracker and the JeepTracker website at lunchtime, it says that it shipped on the 6th, which is a nearly two-week delay in updating their info. I know this because I checked quite a few times between then and now. Oh, well.

yeah I just added it yesterday, thats why it has the date updated as 4/17

Reach out to your dealer. There's a strong chance it's already delivered. Jeep's pizza tracker and Jeep Tracker never updated for me with the arrival date or delivery date.

I was planning on calling him today, so we're thinking alike.

Interesting, yesterday I got the notification that it went into production with an arrival date of 5/20, and today I got a new update with an arrival date of 5/21.

I'm guessing it's normal to see small updates on arrival during production like this. Or might it indicate some larger delay?

Finally! An update with a production date 4 months after ordering. Looks like a June delivery....6 months from ordering in December, but at least it may be here.
