Am I wrong to assume everyone mostly waiting forever ordered a 392?

I ordered a 392XR and havent seen any progress since I recieved a VIN in June.

OUCH that sucks.
That was my biggest fear waiting, was that I'd have to put money into my wife's VW before we traded it in.

Not to mention that trade in values are plummeting so the longer it takes the less they will give for it.

When I traded my 2019 Rubi they gave me $39K for the trade and put it up for sale at roughly $46k. They have brought the price down to $40,900 now. I have my price locked in but am almost ready to see if they want to forget the whole thing and give me my 2019 back. I am so excited about the 392 but will miss the manual and who knows when I'll get it!

YUP! When we decided it was time for a new vehicle about 2 months ago, our VW was worth what we paid for it 3 years ago, when we traded it in, it had dropped by 3k.

Yep wasn’t taking that chance. They gave us what we paid for our 2017 Cruze a few weeks ago. I took it and ran and gave my wife the keys to my gladiator for now.

Yes, that is an incorrect assumption. People that ordered 392s are indeed waiting forever, but there are quite a lot of people that ordered non-392s that have been waiting forever as well. If I recall correctly, many of the orders that are close to the longest waits are not 392s.

YUP! When we decided it was time for a new vehicle about 2 months ago, our VW was worth what we paid for it 3 years ago, when we traded it in, it had dropped by 3k.

Yep im glad I sold my 2500 Denali at the end of July. They gave me 4k more than i paid for it brand new. Thats the only thing that will make trading in my wifes Yukon not hurt to much but i still might cry at what they offer.

Well got a text today from my dealer stating that my Jeep had shipped toady on a direct delivery to the dealership and it will be arriving on Tuesday or Wednesday...we will see...we will see...

Delivered earlier then expected and was delivered today. Was expecting after Christmas, before New Years… Now figure out to pay for it and pick it up. May have to float it on a loan for a quater, don’t want to carry it long at these interest rates.
