What repair does it need?
Maybe nothing. It was a code for an evap system leak that decided to clear itself out right before heading to the dealership. I jiggled all the fuses in the fuse box and retightened the gas cap a couple days ago. Don't know if either of those things were the culprit. According to the tech at the dealer it takes 5(maybe? I forget) run cycles or a 26 mile trip to trigger that CEL if the gas cap is loose, and I drive ~10 miles each way to work so it may have taken a while to trigger if the dealership didn't tighten the cap when fueling it up before delivery.

Hope they’re not waiting for mine to bring you yours!!! Then again I’m still sitting at 32 days in D1 according to the pizza tracker!

another update from Jeep Brand (gotta say I do not mind these emails every other day..)

Checking the status on Jeeponorder.com (many thanks) she has a status of KZ Built on Sep 14
ETA for delivery moved up to 6 Oct.

If they would let me pick it up, I would gulp a half a bottle of ibuprofen, pull an all nighter on the motorcycle to Toledo and then rent a UHaul motorcycle trailer for the trip back home tomorrow (that is what the towing package is for right???). alas that is not in the cards according to Corporate.

Still do not have a build sheet or a window sticker. That is fine, I rather take some photos of MY Sahara in my driveway than have those pieces of paper but no Wrangler.

FYI she has the floor mats, the cold weather package, the tow package and the safety package, so those items are not slowing up builds folks.

Guess it is time to get some cigars ("It's a Wrangler on the wrappers") and start making calls for tires, additional Mopar tweed top, suspension upgrades etc.
I did not want to buy such items until the Wrangler was done, else I could jinx the build, sort of like the Falcons planning a Superbowl parade prior to actually winning the thing..
Bad JuJu, and Ku, god of Karma (good and bad) will come after you with a vengence.. ;<)
Now got my build sheet and window sticker.

I stopped by my dealer today to see if we could do the registration paperwork early, as the Mrs is going to be out of state starting in 2 weeks and the jeep is due to arrive on the 6th.

The coordinator said they cannot predate the paperwork. I thanked him for his time and started to walk out.
He stops me and asks You got the white Sahara coming in right?
Yup..
Well not to worry. We have all our Wranglers trucked in. It will be here before she leaves.
Trucked in from Norfolk?
No, we do not use the train on our Wranglers. They are trucked in. Once you get a ship notice it will be here in 2 to 3 days.

Made my day...

I got to get rid of the spare rims for my Volvo as the Mrs says no new big tires and rims until the Volvo rims are gone.
anyone need some 17" Volvo alloys cheap???

You'll have a great weekend.

Definitely will! Dealer just said no eta yet but it’s sitting in the Toledo raceway yard (no clue what that is) but hoping to ride down to tx is quick
I'm in the situation as you. Was built and marked as shipped since 9/8 but just sitting at the raceway. I actually ordered down the street from you at Huffines since they were willing to do Tread Lightly/FFP on a 392. My salesman just updated me a few minutes ago and said it should reach the railyard (I hope he means Alliance) on the 21st so our Jeeps should be on the same train if not on the same truck after as well.

I communicated with Daniel last week, but it was more a result of me reaching out to him because I needed to get travel squared away. He told me the day I needed works and asked for my Tread Lightly information. Fast forward to this week. I received the canned e-mail Renee on Tuesday ... so now wondering/hoping my requested date and information is on the books because I have a flight and hotel booked.
I am still waiting as well, I think ours all arrived on the same day. I get that it takes some time, but I would like to at least know it is there. I am somewhat close, so driving down is easier for me. I assume they are swamped with a bunch of others on the lot. Just eager to get my hands on it!

Railroad Strike isn't happening last I heard.
Right, I think it was just Wednesday when they were trying to figure everything out. Railroads should be back to normal. Fingers crossed I get one of those surprise texts from my dealership sales man saying "it's here!"

This is precisely what my dealer told me. He told me to not put much stock in the trackers because they all pull from the same information, and a good portion of the time, the trackers lag behind by quite a bit. The tracker shows me being in "C" status since August 8th with my VON and VIN displayed but that is it. When I called the dealer, He said that my Jeep was already in "D" status with a firm build date and reminded me to stop paying so much attention to Jeep's tracker page. I'm just hoping to be pleasantly surprised when my Jeep shows up to the dealer.
