I’ve never worked at a dealership, but from what I understand, there are “vouchers” that dealers get when they reorder stock, meaning they get it at a discount. So no, invoice is not truly what dealerships pay when all factors are included. Someone that’s more knowledgeable may shed some insight or correct me if I’m wrong.

By the same token, A base 2023 Sport S equipped with the Dana 44 rear, Upgraded wheels and Premium audio (similar to my 2004) comes out to $38,570.

Everyone forgets that inflation exists when they look at old car prices for some reason. Cars now cost the same or cheaper, but are significantly safer, more efficient, and feature packed. It's your pay rate that hasn't kept up.

high volume dealers also get massive bonuses for selling xxxx volume. That’s where they make up a lot of money for selling under invoice and also why a lot of low volume dealers won’t do it.

Delivered! About ten days early! Jeep tracker updated a few days after actual delivery.

I’m in MA. So some hope for all you MA folks. Just need to wait a few more days to pick it up. Also looks like the mystery of the Willys tire continues. I got BF Goodrich. Some are getting Firestone. Mines a Willys Sport, just a base jeep with the Willys pkg.

I don't think the Willys tires are a mystery. I believe the Willys Sport gets BFG tires and the Willys gets Firestone.

9 days since shipped. With the potential rail strike looming, I hope it shows up at the dealer within the week. But I feel like it's gets gonna stuck somewhere.

My build sheet said BF Goodrich but I know another post said there build sheet said BFG‘s and then it came with Firestone. That’s why I wasn’t 100% confident in what I was getting.

Picked up from Gupton Motors yesterday, Renee, Daniel, Walter, and Maynor were awesome! I drove the backroads almost 350 miles and it rides very nice, has plenty of power, build quality seems really good. I wasn’t expecting all the attention it gets though, people commenting and waving, all good!

No, really. Look at the build and price for the Willys Sport and the Willys. The former will show BFG tires and the latter Firestone.
