Yeah, I am starting to get irritated at the lack of progress in building 2-doors. I understand that the whole build procedure is somewhat different these days due to myriad excuses, but after ordering every car I have owned for the past near 25 years, this experience so far is by far the worst I have had with a manufacturer and dealer. Starting to consider options :(
As much as I hate this situation, ponder this.
Roughly 87% of new orders are 4 doors. MY23 is two weeks into production. Two weeks. It's a little early to throw in the towel unless you
A) needed the vehicle ASAP, which would've been idiotic
B) are flush with $$ and are willing to settle.
Just saying, it's not yet time to pull the plug.

LOL yeah it definitely couldn't have anything to do with the fact that you waited 7 weeks to put your order in. I ordered a 4 door sport two days before you ordered and I'm still in D status. But never mind that...

Thanks, I guess I'll wait patiently for them to get to the manual builds .... ugh :)
I'm a manual transmission too. Don't assume any one thing is slowing us down. Just accept that we'll get the Jeep when we get it.

Well, original order was supposed to be for 2022, dealer/salesperson song & dance caused delay, chaos, & when order finally did really go in, we were well into 2023 ordering. I don't need a Jeep as I have other cars, I'm just looking forward to getting one...IMO, there doesn't really seem to be any rhyme or reason as to how they are being built, and not seeing 2-doors being built, regardless of whatever % of total they represent, is disappointing that's all...no big deal - like all, or most of you, I hate waiting! ? Also, MA deals are pretty bad compared to what I read here that so many of you are getting in other areas of country...good to here that there are deals to be had in sensible states!

My estimated delivery date was updated from 9/09 to 9/02 today! Now I am panicking because I thought I had another week. Can't wait to step in my first Jeep for the first time.
Meanwhile, the tracker says it hasn't even shipped yet ?. It is probably already sitting in the Twin Oaks rail yard.

My tracker said estimated ship date of 9/5 then when vehicle was built said TBD. When it updated Monday it said estimated delivery 9/6. Today I checked my tracker and it says estimated delivery of 9/1. So hopefully it arrives tomorrow! Dealer said the other day his status said delayed estimated 9/1-9/6. I hope it arrives tomorrow!
Which dealer? Mine is supposed to arrive tomorrow too!

A dealership in Toledo where the Jeep factory is. Doesn’t have to go far to be delivered
