That's cool that some Jeeps are finally showing up on dealer's lots, but I'm wondering why the trackers are lagging behind so poorly compared to the info the dealers have access to (if they check it). Rather important info for customers that still need to sell their current vehicle, make financial arrangements and/or arrange for transportation to pick up an order from hundreds of miles away.

Kinda defeats the purpose of even having a consumer-side tracker.

Yes, I changed my color from HVY to Black but it was a hassle. My dealer had to email his sales rep. From what I was told, they were only able to change it because it was a pre production order and didn’t even have a VIN yet. I think once a VIN has been assigned, it’s kind of set in stone. But it certainly doesn’t hurt to talk to your dealer.

I did! I changed from High Velocity to Reign with no issue.

One odd thing I've noticed with the pizza tracker. Every time I requested an update from my dealer about 15 min later the pizza tracker updated. It's almost like the system request from the dealer forced it to update. My tracker now shows delivered as well.

I'm tending to agree here. Mine updated about 15 mins after I got the email from my dealer with current status. It now shows as built and they moved the estimated delivery date to Sept 23rd. It was October 18th yesterday.

I wish I didn't have to rely on the tracker and feel like I can't contact my sales guy. Any time I've asked a question I've just been referred to the tracker. Clearly, from what I can see here, the tracker is one step away from hot garbage. I want actual info!

OK...curious as to the process. I ordered FireCracker Red, but I saw a Sarge Green in person and REALLY liked it. I'm still happy with the Red...but that Green was nicer in person than I expected.

Vehicle has been built. Arrival in two weeks which is two weeks sooner than originally quoted. Firecracker ULR XR 3.6, leather, tow package, LED, cold weather, painted hardtop, headliners, blind spot system.

I believe as long as you aren’t in D1 you should be okay to switch. I’d call your sales person and ask if you can make the change.
