Rick Moranis was the "Key-Master" after he was possessed and he was looking for the "Gate-Keeper" (who was played by Sigourney Weaver) to insert his "key" and unlock the netherworld. It was a ham-handedly off-color way to deal with the topic. But then, us teenagers (at the time), particularly adolescent boys, were the target audience.
