In the same boat as a lot on here, tracker still showing only as built (two weeks) but got the call last night from the dealer that they have it - picking up this afternoon, right at 6 weeks since ordered. Wheels/tires delivered earlier this week, they'll go on Monday.

Congrats and welcome! You may want to talk to your dealer ASAP as your order has a paint defect, see those 3 grey circles right above the Jeep logo? Ya, that's not normal!!

OH MAN!
That doesn't happen very often, but at times the paint nozzles break loose in the booth and can put giant circular blobs on the body. What's really the bad part is they can shoot out and dent the side..
just kidding... don't want you calling the factory...

This was my original plan as well. Then the wife said if I expect to take it on road trips, she wanted power windows, then she said if we take friends kids or the dogs I should get the 4 door, then she reminded me how much I like to blast Tool, I should upgrade the sound system. So we compromised and I ordered a somewhat loaded 4 door. I stuck with the manual though!

Manual was key for me and my wife said 2-door or nothing at all haha. I actually had a Bronco reservation but got sick of waiting.

Yeah, I'm still curious how well the 2D would fit us but really no regrets on the 4D, it's a lot more nimble than I was expecting. Ford has not handled the factory order peps well at all.

Mine will be 6 full months one week from today.

I stoped into the dealer today to ask about things. Seems the 392 they ordered before mine was four months prior to me (135 days and counting) just came in and…. The engine needs to be replaced. WTH! Anyway, I’m thinking there is at least three more moms for me to wait. Seems the last two weeks (per the tracker) has about 10 392s getting built a week.

Very true. They've been botching new vehicle launches for a while now it seems.

The 4-doors are definitely still a blast to drive!

Mine is officially 6 months tomorrow. Mine should be arriving in the next few weeks though.
Hopefully you'll get yours rolling down the assembly line soon though!

Being told my production/ship date moved from 1/30 to 2/1, what’s another couple of days after such a long period already?

So first off, aprox how many employees at the Wrangler facility and how many special orders? This info will decide the math/ratios. I think there should be a "Buy your Jeep tech a beer" apreciation program. I mean a couple bucks from each special order could certainly buy the guys and gals in Toledo a cold beverage??
